It's perfect for multi-generational family trips to the Devon coast, as both floors offer up living, dining and kitchen areas. All eyes will be on the terrace, where a panoramic hot tub takes centre stage. We also love the snug exterior cinema room, complete with a bar, WC, and a drinks fridge – family film nights have never been easier. Feeling chilly? Throw a log on the wood burner and relax inside – thanks to A-frame windows, you'll still be able to relish in the view.

Home truths:
*This ground floor is ideal for teenagers or grandparents wanting their own space. It has its own bedrooms and bathrooms.
*At full occupancy, two guests, ideally children, will be sleeping on a pull-out bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms.
*One of the king beds can be split into singles on request.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car. There’s free parking for up to two cars on the driveway and more on the road.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance. There are internal and external stairs here – please note stair gates won't fit on these.
*The lack of air conditioning may mean the home gets a little stuffy on warmer days.
