The famous Santa Justa Lift is a forty-second stroll from this lovely apartment. Praça do Comércio, a large, harbour-facing plaza with a range of cafes and museums, is eight minutes on foot. With a metro station and tram stops right around the corner, it's so easy to get around if you don't fancy walking. After a busy day of sightseeing, pick up some pastries from the bakery twenty seconds away from this home and put your feet up for a bit.
We love the traditional Portuguese tiles in the living room and bedroom, which contrast beautifully with the modern furnishings. Later on, if you don't want to eat out, rustle up some bacalhau à brás (scrambled eggs with salt cod, potatoes and olives) in the bright kitchen. Then get some rest in the stylish bedroom before starting another exciting day in Lisbon.
