Hidden away in the rural interior, this 200-year-old finca boasts character and modernity in equal measure – and yes, those are the original juniper wood beams in the living space. There's a distinctly ethnic feel to the furnishings here, with carved elephants and wall hangings blending with high-tech, modern styling and the traditional stone floors and white walls. But we think the best part about this place is the idyllic garden. Take a dip in the pool, sunbathe on the vast lawns, or grab a book and get cosy in the shaded hammock, surrounded by mature palms and cheerful blooms. You could spend all day in this oasis, but for those looking for culture, drive to nearby Santa Gertrudis. This bohemian haven – dubbed 'the Notting Hill of Ibiza' – is full of galleries, restaurants and artisan shops. If the coast is more your thing, it's just a ten-minute drive to Santa Eulalia and the beaches of the south coast. As the sun goes down, gather for an alfresco meal on the terrace, choosing your favourite chill-out playlist on the sound system.
