Spaces Living, Dining and Kitchen area The heart of this house is the huge open plan kitchen-dining-living room space. Entering from the main hallway, you first come to a double-height dining room, flooded with light from Velux windows in the roof. A round dining table seats seven very comfortably, with room for more if needed. Following on from this space, steps lead down to a sitting room area with a cosy La Nordica-Extraflame pellet-burning stove, and leather couches; it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the views out over the bay. On the same level is a fabulously well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar seating four, fully-shelved walk-in pantry, five ring gas burner, double oven, American fridge with icemaker and everything the keen home chef could need. Some further steps lead from both kitchen area and sitting room area to a sun room, the perfect space for kids to play or adults to relax with a pre-dinner drink. French doors open from the sunroom area to the picnic table and back garden outside. Lounge area A generously proportioned lounge offers another living space, with three comfortable leather couches positioned around the fireplace and extra large flatscreen TV with satellite channels available. Games Room The ground floor hallway opens out into a games room with a pool table, with a small table and chairs for enjoying refreshments, and a downstairs WC. There is also a ping pong table stored in the walk-in wardrobe of the downstairs bedroom. Utility room The large utility room is big enough to act as a second kitchen, with lots of cupboard space, washer, dryer, dishwasher, double sink, microwave and plenty of room to store barbecue supplies, watersports equipment, golf clubs and more. From the utility you can directly access the kitchen, front hall and back garden. Bedrooms The first bedroom, on the ground floor, can be accessed from the main hallway, but also has a separate entrance from outside. With a double bed, flatscreen TV, walk-in wardrobe and en suite shower room with a double width shower room, this would make an ideal room for an au pair, or any family member with mobility issues that needs a ground floor room. The master suite sits to one side of the house, away from the other bedrooms. With a super king size bed, stunning views over to Fenit Pier, a large flatscreen TV. A room off the main bedroom is kitted out with rails to use as a walk-in wardrobe, but could equally serve as a nursery for a baby or a young child with a travel cot. The partly-tiled en suite has a large corner shower and heated towel rail. The third bedroom, to the rear of the house upstairs is a twin room painted in fresh blues and greens. The ensuite has a large shower unit and a heated towel rail. The room also has a couple of little nooks ideal for stashing suitcases or toys away. To the front of the house, the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed with a convertible couch/double bed underneath, a separate single bed and a cot. There is also a small flatscreen TV and a walk-in wardrobe well-stocked with games, to keep the little ones entertained. The en suite has a small bath, ideal for little ones and rubber duckies. The final bedroom boasts wonderful views, even from the bed, a small couch, walk-in wardrobe with rails and shelving and an en suite with bath, shower and heated towel rail Upstairs Landing Walking upstairs you are greeted by the curious sight of an original Hammond organ, and a gorgeous nook lined with books, and an easy chair to lounge in and peruse the library. A minstrel gallery overlooks the dining area below. Bathrooms With all bedrooms en suite, there are two bathrooms with baths and three with showers, as well as a guest WC on the ground floor. Outdoor area Lawns and gravel driveway surround the house, with barbecue and outdoor dining situated to the rear, accessible from the utility room and living room. There is ample parking for several cars in the gravelled drive.
