In The Air

Slightly raised above lively Allenby Street, we find In The Air. It’s both modern and comfortable, chic and practical – and it’s set in a historic building with a striking facade. While it’s not oozing character, we like that it’s filled with natural light (courtesy of the glass walls between the living room and second bedroom). Allenby Street and its offshoots are full of things to do (bars, restaurants, coffee shops), and you’re only about a five-minute walk from the beach.

Home truths:
*There’s currently no home manual, you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances
*As it's located on Allenby Street, there will likely be some traffic noise
*There's no dishwasher – time to roll up your sleeves
*Even though the see-through window fills the second bedroom with natural light, it won't be to everyone's liking to have a transparent wall between the bedroom and kitchen
*The second bed is on the narrow side
