Icebreaker

Found in the Old North, Icebreaker is the perfect combination of sea, fun, and city. Located less than five minutes away from some of Tel Aviv’s most popular beaches, you could be swimming in the Mediterranean in no time. While it’s not our most characterful home, it’s a comfortable base (especially if you’re a couple or solo traveller). The kitchen is well-equipped, but if you don’t feel like cooking at home, there are plenty of restaurants close by that are worth checking out.

Home truths:
*The walls could do with a lick of paint to cover up scuff marks
*We couldn’t find a home manual when we visited
*It overlooks a busy street, so it can get noisy
*Even though there’s a lift in the building, you still have to climb a couple of steps to reach the third floor
