The woodland walk with Falling Foss waterfall and tea gardens are definitely worth a visit, as is Whitby, both within 5 miles, where you can pick up the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. With the North Yorkshire Moors and the East coast on your doorstep you really are spoilt for choice for days out, all within easy reach. Conveniently the village has a bus service on the doorstep to Whitby and Scarborough. Head inside the comfortable yet spacious home from home and leave your worries at the door and let your feet pad across oak floors, moving to the lounge. A family room with comfortable sofas, a cosy wood burner effect gas fire, so you can curl up with your favourite book, switch on the TV or listen to your favourite play list on the Smart TV (with Netflix) and Sony Bluetooth speaker. With traditional board games also provided, you can find something the whole family will enjoy. The well equipped kitchen has everything you could need to stir up a hearty family meal, with a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine, also furnished with a small dining table. For extra convenience, there is also a utility/boot room with a washing machine, dryer and additional fridge. For family meal times there is a light and airy dining room to the front of the house. When tiredness kicks in, three bedrooms can be found upstairs. The master bedroom has a cast iron double bed and an en suite bathroom with huge free standing bath a tempting proposition after a long day sightseeing. The second bedroom is a pretty twin room great for children and the third bedroom (located on the top floor) has a double bed and sofa.
