From here, you'll be able to see the expansive gardens, which come complete with a barbecue and an alfresco dining area — you can almost hear the sound of Pimm's being poured out already. The prime location in North Yorkshire means that you won't be short of inspiration for days out. You can walk to Ripon Cathedral in just over a quarter of an hour, while the Nidderdale AONB can be reached in ten minutes by car for when you fancy a longer ramble.
