Now famous for the Longborough Festival Opera which runs throughout the early Summer, the village is also set amidst beautiful natural scenery, and is situated close to the thriving market town of Moreton in Marsh and the delightful Stow on the Wold. Renowned for its fine antiques, Stow on the Wold hosts the Stow Horse Fair each February in the town square, attracting buyers from all over the world, while Morton in Marsh, located at the head of the beautiful Evenlode Valley, dates back 1000 years to the Saxon era and provides a wide range of facilities. Both Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh offer intimate restaurants, an abundance of tea rooms and pubs serving local beers.
