Holiday home Goodlands Cottage is adetached bungalow which is situated half way between Miltown Malbay and Spanish Point on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare. With one twin bedroom and three doubles (one with an ensuite) and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep eight people. The rest of the accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen with a dining area and an open fire and a sitting room which also has an open fire. Outside the cottage is a lawned garden surrounding the cottage with garden furniture and a BBQ, as well as off road parking for four cars. With many rooms having sea views and being located close to the beaches of Spanish Point, Goodlands Cottage is a lovely family cottage all year round. Area Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to the beach resorts of Spanish Point and Doonbeg, both of which are well worth a visit for their great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers.
Region County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.
