Outside, there is a front patio with furniture, communal grounds with private, resident-only access to Lake Windermere, and private parking for two cars. Within 0.8 miles, there is a shop, and within 0.6, a pub. Please note, this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Bowness and Windermere are vibrant, fun-filled Lake District towns. Both towns offer a variety of amenities, shops, and restaurants, but Ambleside offers a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium, and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park offers many walks, mountain biking, and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region has many National Trust properties and water sports for thrill-seekers. Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick, and the Lakeland Mountains are all easily accessible.
