Florida Manor is a Seventeenth Century Mansion set in the rural heartland of East Down near Killinchy.
It is currently being restored by its owner using selected new and reclaimed materials to give the building its original appearance as well as bringing it into the 21st Century for use by today’s and future generations.
The Courtyard, which is phase 1 of the refurbishment programme, is a stone building originally used as stables and living quarters for the servants and will now become apartments and stables.
The interior, now fully restored, is still sympathetic to the 17th and 18th Century design and will impress with a sense of the past, while giving the added comfort, relaxation and luxury much sought after by today’s hard working generation.
Gambles Patch, is a duplex apartment, and is the smaller of the two apartments. It has been decorated and finished with a very traditional look and feel to it.
There is a double and a single bedroom, bathroom with shower, a combined kitchen, dining and living space. Downstairs, there is a lounge and bathroom.
Enter into this apartment and immediately you get a sense of history being lived out before you, yet with all the modern amenities necessary to help you enjoy your stay.

Wonderful Stay We had a wonderful stay. Such a gorgeous apartment, and a perfect base for our horse racing trips to Down Royal and Downpatrick. Lots of good sight seeing too.
