Slightly raised above Tel Aviv’s bustling city centre, Fishing For Compliments offers some breathtaking views of the ever-changing cityscape. And let’s not forget about the sea – with its glistening appeal and calming atmosphere, we never get tired of looking at the Mediterranean. It is a studio home (with little storage space), but it’s well-utilised, so we like it. There’s also a pool and gym in the building for some post-sightseeing relaxation. You’ll also be happy to hear that it comes with a parking spot, a rarity in this part of the city.
Home truths: *We noticed some scuff marks – the walls could do with a lick of paint
*When we visited, there was no home manual
*There’s no coffee machine
