We stayed at Fig Cottage in Dec 23 and had a wonderful weekend in Kirkby Stephen and the surrounding areas - the location is fantastic location for exploring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
The property was warm, cosy and perfect for our needs (including a lovely decorated Christmas tree put up in time for our visit). The sauna was very welcome after a day out and the football table was a big hit for all generations. It felt very homely and we didnt want to leave!
Thank you - we will be back!

1. Location by the river eden is amazing - Kirkby Stephen is such a cute town! Great base for walks and exploring the lakes/Yorkshire dales/eden valley. 2. Great facilities at the cottage - Sauna/washing machine/log fire/ceiling speakers. The table football table is a great addition! 3. A modern cottage feel. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, living area spacious, dining area well thought out for entertaining. We had a great time and will be booking a stay again (with the kids this time)!

We had such a great weekend at Fig Cottage! The cottage is so bright and modern with all the mod-cons you could hope for but also decorated to a really high standard and extremely comfortable and cosy. We loved the huge log burner in the lounge and the sauna upstairs - both were such a treat to come back to after a long walk! The location is great - set back off the main high street so lovely and quiet but close enough to everything that Kirkby Stephen has to offer. We are already planning our next visit!
