A cosy stay awaits at this stone cottage. Alongside its excellent location near Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Chipping Norton, trails lead from the back garden into the Cotswold countryside. After a ramble, pop into the village pub – it's just a five-minute stroll from your door. Back home, the patio has alfresco dinners written all over it, while the fireplace in the living area has chilly nights covered. It's not the most modern, but it's comfortable – though it's best suited for eight adults and two children, with the latter sleeping in a twin alcove in the main bedroom.
