In the heart of Painswick, this pretty cottage promises a cosy Cotswolds getaway. The front patio is the perfect spot for a cup of tea or an evening cocktail, and we adore the views of the historic church from the original windows. Inside has charm in spades. The living room may not be the biggest, but it's stylish, snug, and just the thing after a day in the country air. A pair of peaceful bedrooms await you upstairs – there's even a wellie wall if you forget your walking shoes. Best of all, furry friends and little ones are welcome here, too.

*While the second bathroom and the WC aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*This is a period cottage with a steep, narrow winding staircase and low ceilings – it won't be suitable for guests with reduced mobility or large dogs.
*Your host can provide a free cot and high chair upon request.
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you here.
*There's free street parking but no allocated spaces.
*You're welcome to use the wellie boots, but your host asks that you please clean them and return them after use.
*There's only one sofa in the lounge – we think it's best for two adults.
*There isn't a dining table here. Instead, there's a bar-style table with four bar stools.
