We love the views from the two balconies at this stylish home of the Farne Islands and the harbour. It’s the perfect place for the first coffee of the day or a glass of wine as the sun sets. Large windows, French doors and skylights allow light to flood into the open plan living space, making it a wonderful place to spend quality time with your family or friends. Whitewashed walls, wood floors, feature wallpaper and seaside-themed prints and cushions create a homely feel.
Seahouses is the perfect seaside staycation. Go for a game of crazy golf or do some rock pooling on the beach. This lovely village has an array of tempting tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and shops, all within a 0.8-mile walk. Alternatively, there’s a riding school close by if you like horse riding, and there are two fantastic golf courses on your doorstep. Or, take a boat trip from Seahouses to the Farne Islands, just a couple of miles off the coast and do some wildlife spotting (it’s one of Sir David Attenborough’s favourite places in the UK, apparently).
