Located in the heart of town and a short two-minute stroll to the station for those arriving by train, you'll find pubs and cafes on your doorstep. The beach is not far either, just a mere eight-minute walk away, so you can spend languorous days idling on the Saltburn sands – from here, active types may opt to take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. It's a fantastic stroll, overlooking the colourful beach huts and dramatic high cliffs.
