A wood-clad cabin by the sea is on offer at this Herne Bay home. It’s just 30 metres from the pebble beach and an easy dander into town sees you at the old Victorian pier home to arcades and street food. It may be in the owner’s back garden (they tend to keep themselves to themselves), but it feels like a rural retreat in town. It positively sings with sunshine thanks to the wall of glass that folds back to combine the terrace with the living room. There’s no TV here, inviting you to switch off, swing in the hammock and enjoy the salty air.
