Area The Cornish settlement of Crantock is conveniently located near the beach and the tourist hotspot of Newquay. This is the spot to be if you want to avoid the madding masses but remain conveniently near to all the activity. You may find beautiful landscapes and charming towns in all directions, but the shore is where most people go. You can go surfing on the beaches that span from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the middle of Newquay and further south, or take a stroll along the coastal route across stunning cliff-tops. A variety of excellent restaurants, as well as historic inns and museums owned by the National Trust, may be found in the vicinity. Shopping, dining, and entertainment options abound in Newquay, and the city is conveniently located near other popular destinations like the Eden Project and Dairyland.
Region Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
