For days spent relaxing at home, this cottage is a bookworm’s dream – after all, reading is dreaming with open eyes. Shelves stacked with classic literature invite you to browse the spines, pull out a book and sink into the armchair to get lost in a story – if you’re anything like us, you could spend days, not just hours, in this comfortable spot, escaping to other worlds. Another feature that ticks a box for us is the rolltop bath. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy a little quiet time, soothing your muscles and simply relaxing after a day spent exploring the coast.

*This home is spread over two floors, with no internal lift, so may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility
*Candles are not permitted in the home for safety reasons
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
