Doon Cottage is situated at the foot of Cashel Hill, County Galway, right in the heart of Connemara: an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is secluded but not isolated, with a sheltered terrace overlooking the sea. While the village of Cashel is very quiet, popular resorts of Roundstone and Clifden are within easy reach with beaches, restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets. Fishing, sailing, horseriding and golf are available locally.
The cottage has a spacious sitting/dining-room with sea views, smart TV and a solid fuel stove. The dining area has a hatch to a separate, well-equipped kitchen. There are three good-size bedrooms, two with sea views, and three bathrooms. Doon Cottage is part of the Doonreagan Estate, which also comproses the East and West Wings. Rented together, these three properties offer a measure of independence within a group.
The private foreshore has swimming facilities and a sea pool adjacent to a sauna and exercise facilities.There is also a large games and reading room available with pool, table tennis, puppet theatre and thousands of books to choose from. The auditorium is suitable for workshops, seminars, and other group activities

Beautiful relaxing cottage with magnificent views from the living room. A short walk across the road to watch the seals. Beautiful sandy beaches 15 minutes away. Wonderful

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Doonreagan.
It is extremely comfortable with stunning views. The cottage has been carefully designed and lots of extras were included, in fact everything that you may need during your stay. We had excellent nights sleeps in super comfy beds.
We will be back again for hill climbing, beach walks, pool games, table tennis and more (in fact the game room and library - are outstanding). I have learnt more during our stay then at Uni after I have discovered books (pretty much about anything and in different languages)
