Just a short stroll to the seaside village of Porthtowan which boasts a mermaid pool (outdoor large rock pool/swimming pool) which is visible at low tide, and amenities including a village shop and several places to eat.
While exploring the rock pools and following the coast path, look out for the occasional dolphin, seal or basking shark that call these waters home. Head to the village of St Agnes with more beaches, coves and eateries.
