You can walk along the coast to the popular town of Whitby (3 miles), with its excellent restaurants, independent shops and a ruined abbey. Other attractive locations include Runswick Bay (5.5 miles), Staithes (7.5 miles) and the idyllic village of Robin Hood's Bay (8 miles), known for its beautiful views and maze of cobbled streets. Heading inland, you can be in the heart of the North York Moors within minutes (3 miles), with destinations including Egton (7 miles), Danby (12 miles), Castleton (13 miles) and Rosedale Abbey (17 miles). On entering this welcoming property, you will find an inviting and tastefully designed open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge features plenty of seating, a traditional wood burner and TV. There's a pretty dining area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need including an oven, washing machine and fridge with an ice compartment. Heading upstairs you will find two comfortable bedrooms. There's a master bedroom with a king size bed and a bunk room which is perfect for children. There is also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Roadside parking is available and there's also a car park a few hundred metres away. Please note, the original old steps to the cottage can be uneven where they have been weathered by the sea over the years. The lovely beach is just seconds away.
