Property Overview

Nestled in the hills of the Yorkshire Dales, this traditional stone cottage is ideal for couples or friends who want to enjoy walks through the countryside with the opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea or a pint of beer in a nearby tearoom or pub. Situated in Swaledale, you can discover wonderful waterfalls and marvel at the wildflower meadows that the area is famous for. You may even stumble across your neighbours, the black faced Swaledale sheep, on your travels. The walks available from your doorstep are endless. Within 3 miles, you have the town of Hawes and village of Muker, both of which offer shops, galleries, tea rooms and pubs perfect for a lazy afternoon amble. Lovingly decorated, this cottage has an elegant charm that creates a welcoming home, making it easy to relax into your holiday. The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room is centred around the dramatic, stone fireplace and the living flame fire which creates a cosy ambience and complements the warmth of the underfloor heating. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to create your favourite comfort food before snuggling down for the evening. Traditional cutlery and crockery are available to add the quintessential English touch to any meal. When you're feeling suitably sleepy, head upstairs to bed in the restful king size bedroom with its high ceiling and exposed beams. The walk in wardrobe has plenty of hanging space and is also home to the washing machine and dryer. The en suite bathroom has a large bath and walk in shower. Outside the cottage, you will find a very special sheltered terrace with spectacular, unbridled views of Kisdon Hill the perfect place to enjoy your favourite tipple whilst you soak up the surroundings.
