A truly gorgeous one bedroom cottage nestled in the pretty village of Kilburn on the cusp of the North Yorkshire Moors. The village offers a gastro pub within 100 metres and any foodies looking for a special culinary treat have The Black Swan Michelin starred restaurant at Oldstead just over a mile away. For such a small village, Kilburn packs a real punch. Enjoy an exhilarating day out the Yorkshire Outdoors Centre which offers rough terrain driving in a 4x4, try quad bike trekking or clay pigeon shooting. Visit the mediaeval castle or the walled garden in Helmsley (10.5 miles) with its superb cafe. Helmsley boasts many independent shops, tearooms, an arts centre, a Norman castle and the National Birds of Prey Centre on the grounds of Duncombe Park. The outdoor opportunities are endless and are sure to make an unforgettable holiday! On entering the cottage, you are greeted by the cosy sitting room with a wood burner and stylish Chesterfield sofas. This is the perfect spot to unwind at the end of the day, snuggled up with your loved one warmed by the heat of the flames pick a movie to watch on the Smart TV until it s time to retire. Up a short stairway leads to the well equipped modern country style kitchen.
