Brockenhurst lies centrally within the heritage area of the New Forest. Although set in a delightful forest environment, Brockenhurst has road and rail links with the rest of the country that make it a perfect area to access and visit. The area is ideal for a relaxing holiday and taking the slower pace of life, there are shops, pubs and many lovely restaurants including many fine dining restaurants. Make the most of the New Forest s pretty villages including Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu with its cobbled high street, Lyndhurst and Lymington for its quaint shops and beautiful harbour and the Seawater baths with over 120m of inflatable obstacle courses and on a rainy day you can always enjoy the indoor pool at the leisure centre. You can hire bikes direct from the cottage and explore the countryside where New Forest ponies, donkeys and cattle are roaming. For the more energetic there is a multi activity court just around the corner where you can try your hand at basketball, table tennis and shooting at the football goals. Through the private gated entrance (please ensure this gate is kept closed as roaming donkeys, ponies and cattle are around) you enter the quaint and delightful cottage. Proceed through the hallway and into the large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where in the lounge area you can cosy up on the large comfy L shaped sofa in front of the wood burner for the evening. There is a lovely country kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and dining table. Also a handy utility with washer/dryer and wet room with shower and WC is accessed off the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There are large bi fold doors to enter the beautiful enclosed garden, which is perfect for summer evenings. Upstairs are three bedrooms, the master bedroom with king size bed, TV and is adjacent to the upstairs shower room with shower and WC. The other two bedrooms are to the rear of the property, one king size with TV and one double also with TV. The south facing garden with patio is a perfect spot for catching the sun and enjoying a charcoal BBQ after a long day around the forest. There are two parking spaces within the cottage gates and further roadside parking available.
