For the rail enthusiasts, the Watercress Steam Railway is 13 miles and there are a number of local vineyards offering tours and tasting to wine lovers. The surrounding countryside offers miles of scenic walking and cycling throughout the Meon Valley and the magnificent cathedral, historic buildings and vibrant market of Winchester just a short drive away (12.5 miles).
