Property Overview

Tucked away at the end of a private lane, you can look forward to idyllic countryside views, an indulgent hot tub and a variety of walking and cycling trails from the doorstep. There is a picturesque Dorset village, with its friendly local pub, just a mile and half away and Eype beach on the Jurassic Coast is a three mile drive. The historic market town of Bridport is within a 10 minute drive where there is a larger selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a lively arts scene and vintage and farmers markets. The nearby fishing village of West Bay has a pretty harbour and beach, as well as access to the South West Coast Path. Enter into the light and bright property, offering a clean and crisp feel throughout. On chilly winter evenings light the wood burner in the lounge, sink into the sofa in front of its warm glow and watch the sun set over the rolling countryside through the large bay window. This is the perfect spot to cosy up with a movie on the TV, while the kids entertain themselves with the TV and games in the snug. The well equipped kitchen with Range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, is just the place to rustle up a hearty supper for all the family, which can be laid out for all to enjoy on the large table in the dining room, as the wood burner crackles in the background. There are three bedrooms in the main property, two super king size zip and links (which can be made into a twin on request), one with en suite shower and WC, and a double bedroom. There is a family bathroom completing this property with bath, shower and WC. Heading outside there is a separate log cabin in the garden, providing an extra super king size zip and link bedroom (which can be made into a twin on request) and an en suite shower and WC. There is a comfortable lounge area with a TV and has its own veranda and outside seating area to make the most of the views and local wildlife. The spacious garden has a large lawn as well as a raised decking area. It is wonderfully secluded and enjoys glorious vistas as far as the eye can see over the surrounding fields and woodland. The bubbling hot tub is a welcome spot to make a toast as the sun sets, while the BBQ sizzles and the younger members of the party have fun on the trampoline. There is ample off road parking available at the property.
