Tucked away in the quaint village of Longborough, this cosy cottage waits to welcome you home. There are some steep stairs and low ceilings to contend with here, natural, given the age of the home, and while it’s something to be aware of, we think these character features simply add to its appeal. Outdoors, you can enjoy alfresco meals in the pretty cottage garden. The village itself boasts a shop and post office, a farm shop, an opera house, and a pub famed for its home-cooked meals and traditional Sunday roasts – what more could you want?
Home truths: *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The third bedroom has two single beds, one of which is on a mezzanine level, accessed via steep open-tread stairs.
*There's no handrail on the main staircase. Children will need to be supervised and it may not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*The ceiling in some areas is on the low side. It might not be suitable for taller guests.
*There's an unfenced pond in the garden here. If you're bringing children or dogs, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*A starter pack for the wood burner is included here.
*There's a primary school nearby. You may hear some noise from the school during term time.
