Conveniently situated on the number 28 tram line, between the neighbourhoods of Baixa and Alfama, this apartment has Lisbon’s best-loved sights within easy reach. The Sé de Lisboa is just around the corner and the São Jorge Castle is a short (uphill) walk away. The home itself is a comfortable crash pad, though there are a few signs of wear and tear and there’s not much natural light in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen, however, is fully equipped, and your host leaves a small welcome gift, which we think is a nice touch.
Home truths: *Parking in Lisbon can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible. That said, we think the best way to see the city is on foot. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot, baby bath and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance. *Please note, the bedrooms share a door and one of the rooms doesn’t have a window, so there’s not much natural light. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street and tram noise throughout your stay. *Just so you know, there are some stairs to climb to reach the apartment’s entrance.
