Located just a five-minute drive from the centre of Martina Franca, you’re close to the action but far away enough to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The villa is facing a road, though, so you might hear cars go by from time to time. It doesn’t feel completely secluded, but the large courtyard puts distance between you and the road. Plus, you’re surrounded by countryside – the jacuzzi is the best place to take in the scenery. Bear in mind that there isn’t a pool here and there’s limited green space in the garden, so it might not be the best choice for families. Inside, the traditional decor might not be to everyone’s taste, but we like the authentic feel of a traditional Puglian home – it even has characteristic trullo roofs.
