Situated just two miles from the attractive village of Belcarra in County Mayo and 6.5 miles from the bustling town of Castlebar is this superb detached cottage. This delightful cottage was once the local convenience store and has been lovingly restored from its original form to offer guests all the luxury of a modern property, but with the charm of a traditional Irish cottage including stone floors, a traditional half door, a thatched roof and even the original shop front!

Set over two floors, this cottage boasts three well-appointed bedrooms, each with an en-suite for extra comfort and luxury during your stay. The cottage benefits from two stylish kitchens, each with French doors; they provide an ideal place for you to prepare and cook a delicious meal for your loved ones. The main sitting room features a woodburning stove, which you can curl up beside and enjoy some quality time over a bottle of wine with friends.

For a spot of downtime, there are two additional sitting rooms where you can relax with a good book or the local paper after a jam-packed day of adventure. As you step outside, you will find a large garden with mature trees and patio areas with furniture, and to the front of the cottage, in the neighbouring field, are the ruins of a tower house!
