Reputedly a gift from Napoleon to one of his generals, every detail of this 19th Century home is an ode to the magic of French living. From the elegant rooms and luxurious details to the heated swimming pool and outdoor dining areas, this is the perfect setting for a rejuvenating retreat. There are five acres of serene grounds to explore and your host is on hand to help organise a range of extras – including private chefs and massage treatments. You will need a car to get around here, but it’s just a short drive to the town of Beaumont de Lomagne and a little further on to Toulouse.
