From romantic strolls along one of the beaches or a days golf at one of the many golf courses including Colvend and New Galoway and Dalbeatie to the more thrill seeking cycle trails climbing through the Galloway Forest, which is part of the popular 7 Stanes courses or a trip up to Loch Ken may tempt some water sport fanatics.
