"Castagni II (OCT101)", 5-room house 170 m2 on 2 levels. Practical and rustic furnishings: living/sleeping room with 2 sofabeds and satellite TV. Open small dining room with open-hearth fireplace and dining table. Exit to the terrace. Small kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, toaster, freezer, electric coffee machine).
The house in the village corresponds to the beautiful pictures. The view from the terrace is beautiful, rosemary, lavender and laurel in the garden. The beds are single and only 190 cm long. We brought an anti-allergic duvet, which was a good idea because of the temperatures in early October. Otherwise, large sheets would be suitable. The house is spacious, but only a very narrow bathtub and a narrow shower, so I would only recommend it for 4 people. No WiFi.

We had a wonderful holiday in Castigni II. The cottage offers a magnificent view from the terrace. The owner is very welcoming. The location is ideal for hiking in the Tuscan hills or visiting small medieval villages. The cottage is located about 1 hour from Pisa, Florence or the sea. We really enjoyed the swimming pool which allows you to cool off after a good hike. We highly recommend this rental.
