Close to the Tel Aviv Marina, Canary Moment places you at a short walk from Tel Aviv’s glistening ocean front. It isn’t the most electrifying home in all the city, but we love its muted colour palette with splashes of bright sun yellow. If you’re not in the mood to sit inside, you can soak up the sun on one of the nearby beaches, or grab a post-beach bite at one of the many eateries along Ben Yehuda Street and its offshoots.
Home truths: * There’s no in-person check-in – don’t expect a local tour guide upon arrival
* There are only chairs for two people on the balcony
* The kitchen is missing amenities like a coffee machine and dishwasher – time to roll up your sleeves
* Tall people be aware – the shower in bathroom two is only 197 cm tall
* Bathroom one is a bit tired-looking – the bathtub, in particular, could do with a bit of love and attention
* There’s currently no home manual, you may have to ask for help on how to use the appliances
