Welcome to Burrendale House, a recently built luxurious detached house in the harbour village of Kinvara, with bright and spacious rooms, lovely garden and patio area to relax in, and local stone facade. Burren Dale House is an ideal base from which to tour the limestone landscape of The Burren, The Cliffs of Mohar and Aillwee Caves.
Accommodation: The house consists of large sitting room, well equipped kitchen/dining room and sun room, utility with washing machine and dryer and a downstairs bathroom.
Upstairs you have 4 bedrooms, one of which is ensuite and the main bathroom.
• Linen and towels provided. • Oil central heating with gas fire in sitting room. • All timber floors to bedrooms and sitting room • Sleeps 7/8. • Car parking. • Family friendly
Kinvara: We have a lovely blue flag beach close to Kinvara, two championship golf courses within driving distance and Shannon Airport is only one hours drive.
Kinvara has many excellent bars/restaurants and Irish music can be heard in the local bars most nights. It hosts the traditional Irish music festival, known as Fleadh na gCuach (The Cuckoo Fleadh) on the May Bank Holiday weekend each year, and Cruinniu na mBád festival in August, where turf boats and other traditional craft compete in a host of exiting races and events. On the October bank holiday weekend, Gort hosts the Joe Cooley Traditional Music festival.
Directions: From Kinvara, turn onto Gort road out of the village. Take a right and proceed for approximately 100metres, house is on the left.
"Great House and Location" The house is spacious, very nice, clean and well furnished (comfortable beds and sofas). In a quiet street, Burrendale House is 4min walk from shops, pubs and restaurants of Kinvara, a magnificent village and harbour. It is the perfect place to have half-day or one-day-trip: Coole Park, Burren, cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Galway, Aran Islands... Mary and Michael are very kind and helpful. They make this house the perfect place to stay in Ireland!

"Spacious, accommodating and great location" Had a great week at Burndale House which is at the end of a quiet cul de sac just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the charming Kinvara. The house is spacious and accommodated for 4 kids and 4 adults easily and was well supplied with all you need for self catering. Off street parking for two cars with room for more parking on the street.
Plenty to do nearby and further a field. The Burren Nature Sanctuary is just down the road - younger kids will love it. Tracht beach is a short drive away and the Flaggy Shore and Bishop's Quarter beaches are a little further. Fr. Ted fans should pay a visit to the Farther Ted House, deep in the Clare countryside, for afternoon tea. It is great craic. A walk in the Burren National Park afterwards will be required to work off the beautiful cakes and scones. If you recover your appetite a stop at Cassidy's of Carran or Linnane's near the Flaggy Shore on the way back to Burndale should sort you out.

"Wonderful house for families!" We had a lovely time exploring the Burren and Kinvara. Mary and Michael took wonderful care of us and got us a great discount on a ferry to Inis Mor and the Cliffs of Moher. We also had a fantastic time at the banquet dinner at Castle Dunguire which we walked to from our house!
