Two 18th Century period lakeside lodges, situated in Ireland's County Clare. These luxury vacation homes are set on a 38-acre mature wooded estate, complete with a riverside walk and Victorian gardens. Recreational activities include canoeing, fishing, sailing, lake boating, cycling and walking tours.
Lodges accommodation:
The lodge includes two superb bedrooms, on the upper floor. The master bedroom consists of a double queen size bed and a single bed with beautiful views of the lake from the window. The twin bedroom consists of twin beds, with an en-suite toilet, sink and shower.
The main bathroom has a full bath, shower, toilet and sink. All bedrooms have been furnished and decorated to a high standard, with duvet quilts and pillows provided for all beds. Other linen provided includes sheets, pillowcases and towels.
The entrance hallway leads to the living/dining room, which has a wood-burning stove, 3-piece suite, dining table and chairs, satellite TV and broadband internet connection.
The lodge has oil fired central heating throughout. French doors open out onto a private patio, lawn and woods with views and direct access to Castle Lake. The Kitchen comes fully equipped with the following:
Oven and Hob, Fridge / Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Dryer, Iron and ironing board, Telephone, Microwave Oven, Full range of kitchenware is provided.
Fishing Holidays
A Fisherman's dream. Ireland's many watercourses and extensive coastline have something to offer every angler.
We had the most wonderful stay. The lakeside setting is very serene and the house is spacious and well-equipped and was perfect for our family of all ages. Harvey is adorable and we would love to come back for a longer holiday. Highly recommended!

Great stay. Lovely lakeside spot with places for kids to run around, and view of the lake from the common space. Perfect for families or groups of friends. Just 7 min drive to town of Sixmilebridge.

"Everything was great." Lovely accomodation with plenty of space. The location was idyllic with acres of mature woodland. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need! Highly recommended....

"Magical spot!" Can't praise this property enough! My husband and 2 kids spent 4 very peaceful days here. The lodge is cosy, spacious and very well presented. It's also perfectly situated for touring! It was the highlight of our trip. Hope to return next year....

"Perfect base for touring"
Spent a wonderful 6 days here last summer as part of our tour around Co. Clare. Pat, the owner, made our stay as enjoyable as possible. The house is beautifully decked out and incredibly comfortable. We had everything we needed!
We loved the area, felt at home in the small town of Sixmilebridge and even cheered on Ireland at the local pub as they played Wales.

"Wonderful" Perfect accommodation for a group of friends. Pat is a warm, friendly, fun host. His companion dogs and donkeys were a delight and also most welcoming. Ideal location for day trips.
All the amenities one could ask for. Comfortable, clean. View, a lake, cows next door and stunning grounds, great for walks. Would love to return some time.

"Lovely place to stay" 2nd time here and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Lovely people and a lovely relaxing place to stay and tour the area. Buster Bella Harvey and Bailey the dogs are just amazing... If you're thinking of staying in the area definetly look into staying here.
