Nice neighborhood near meadow. Floor to ceiling windows provide plenty of light.
Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher!
Walk-in shower is upstairs while second bathroom is downstairs and has a very deep tub with shower head.
Plenty of linens and towels.
No body wash or shampoo.

We had a very comfortable stay with short drives to seaside town of Weymouth and Lolworth Cove. Also a nice walk in this beautiful neighborhood!

The cottage/apartment was very well appointed, with Smart TV's & excellent WiFi and broadband, good quality furnishings, and a very compact but functional kitchen. We made use of the cooker, dishwasher, and washing machine, and all were modern and easy to use. Externally, the cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside; one evening we spotted a fox, badger, owl, woodpeckers, horses, sheep and cows, so you really feel that you're away from the city. There is ample car parking space, and areas for the kids to explore. We also used the BBQ a couple of times, and eat out at local pubs for the remainder. Dorchester, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Swannage, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay, Lulworth, all of these places are worth a visit, and the cottage made an ideal base to travel from. Local Sainsburys sold fuel and food, and was within 5 mins drive of the cottage.

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of August with my Wife and two teenage children (16 and 13). The property itself was nice and modern and perfectly laid out for the four of us with a bedroom on the mezzanine level and the kids having their own room on the ground floor. The cottage had adequate space and amenities to serve as an ideal base to explore the local area and all that Dorset and the Jurassic Coast has to offer. This is one of 5 properties in a courtyard setting which was peaceful and relaxing yet enabling you to chat with those staying at the other cottages if you wish to do so. The Budmouth Cottage that we stayed in benefited from a nice private patio in the sunshine during the afternoon and evening. A BBQ was also provided which was very handy. Because of this and the large floor to ceiling window it can get very hot inside but with the doors and windows it was easy to ventilate and a fan was also provided in the main bedroom. We found the owner, Helen, to be very helpful before we arrived and I am sure that if you had any problems or requests she would very happily accommodate for you. We really did have a lovely week, helped by the amazing weather, and we were able to explore Weymouth, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and Durdle Door. We would recommend all of these as places to visit. We also loved the Upwey Wishing Well and Tea Rooms which are set amongst beautiful gardens and only approximately a 20 minute walk from the cottage. The local shop is also a fairly short walk and the village of Upwey is so nice we would recommend the walk. All in all a fantastic stay and should we wish to visit Dorset again this will be the first place we would look to stay.

We thought the cottage was ideally situated to explore South Dorset and the coastline. The cottage was new and clean, very light and airy. The cottage is in a very quiet and peaceful location. It was nice to have a patio area to sit out on, ours caught the afternoon and evening sunshine.
