Property Overview

Calling all history buffs. This Grade II-listed apartment was the former headquarters of Captain Briggs, the leader of the D-Day landings at Omaha Beach. It's on the first floor – and the building itself is perched on a steep hill – so though you'll need to climb a few stairs, you'll be treated to postcard-worthy sea views. We love the cosy feel of the living space, especially the characterful window seats. And the location? It’s ideal for exploring. Lyme Regis Front Beach is a fifteen-minute stroll away, and the town's shops and eateries are nearby, too.

Home truths:
*One well-behaved dog is welcome to join you here. Just note that this apartment has no outdoor space and is on a busy road. A wooded area behind the building and a path along the River Lym at the bottom of the hill are both ideal for dog walks.
*This home is on the first floor of a building without a lift. It's also set on a steep hill – you'll want to pack comfortable shoes as we reckon you'll do the majority of your exploring on foot.
*Off-road parking is available for one car.
