At the far end of the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park is a quiet oasis, and makes a lovely place to enjoy walks among the sand dunes. Also, within easy reach of the property, if you can tear yourself away from the beach, are the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, the harbour town of Bideford and the popular Milky Way Adventure Park. There is no denying that the ocean is the star of this first floor apartment, and the owners have lovingly styled the property in order to compliment and make the most of the stunning views, with elegant and understated decoration. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is dominated by the huge windows which look out to see, and offers comfortable sofa seating, binoculars, contemporary accessories, a TV/DVD and access out to the spacious patio. It is possible to have an additional fold out single bed made up in this room, which is suitable for a child and should be requested at time of booking. The second bedroom is a pretty twin room. There is also a shower room with shower and WC. Outside, the property benefits from a spacious balcony which enjoys uninterrupted views across the beach and out to sea. Here, guests will find garden furniture, perfect for enjoying al fresco meals or relaxing with a drink as the sun sets. There is also a handy storage area for outdoor equipment which is located underneath the apartment building.
