Stood beside a 19th-century lighthouse on a headland between the sandy bays of Harlyn and Constantine, the location of this cottage makes quite a first impression. One of four holiday cottages within the estate, the panoramic views are spectacular from the communal gardens. Though if the weather doesn’t buck up, the vistas are just as dramatic sat around the dining table inside. When you’re ready to soak up the Cornish bustle, beloved Padstow is just four miles west. But be prepared to drive along a one-mile-long private narrow road first – all part of the adventure, we say.
Home truths: *Access roads to the lighthouse site are narrow, with limited passing.
*There is private parking for one car outside the cottage, and additional public parking is available 100 yards away.
*Due to the remote location, the mobile signal is limited, and a telephone with an honesty box is provided. Wi-Fi speed and availability cannot be guaranteed.
*This is a heritage building, therefore certain features such as steps, stairs and floor levels may not comply with that of a modern building. Also, please note that there are internal steps and level changes within the cottage.
*Two travel cots and high chairs are available on request though they are shared with the other three cottages. We recommend you request with your host well in advance.
