Beach Bonanza

If you're going to the trouble of flying to Mallorca for a beach holiday, you might as well stay as close to the seaside as possible and you won't get much nearer than this villa sitting on the edge of Platja d'Alcudia.

You can just as easily find peaceful spots under the towering trees out on the lawn, too.

Inside, it's plain to see that the architect has sought to make the most of the copious amounts of Balearic sunshine, as most walls are covered in floor-to-ceiling windows or glass doors. It's fair to say that the interior design also has this natural asset in mind too, with shiny flooring and white walls catching the light particularly well. There's a vast sense of space inside that we appreciate, while the furnishings and finishes are wonderfully contemporary, too.

Aside from the neighbouring beach, there are plenty more attractions nearby to lure you away from this remarkable address. Albufera Natural Park is a short drive away when you fancy a hike through the island's rugged terrain and the resort town of Port d'Alcúdia lies up the coastline when it's bars and restaurants you're after.
