Property Overview

Set within the grounds of the mid 18th century Kirkby Fleetham Hall in the village of Kirkby Fleetham. Within the grounds are a church, a lake and well kept landscaped gardens and a private woodland which guests are free to roam and perhaps throw a blanket down for a romantic picnic. Walk to the pretty village of Kirkby Fleetham which has a village gastropub. This is a great base, perfect for discovering the glorious countryside of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. There are miles of walks and bike trails to explore from the doorstep, including the coast to coast walk. Northallerton is the nearest town with its abundance of shops and tea rooms or head towards Richmond with its cobbled market square, Norman Castle and Easby Abbey and Saturday market with local traders selling local produce. The property is set within this bucolic setting, surrounded by lush manicured gardens and accessed by a gravel driveway to the private setting. Take the stairs to enter the cottage into this lovingly restored building with its exposed beams, wooden floors, cosy comfortable furnishings and a wonderful airy open plan arrangement incorporating the lounge/kitchen/diner. A fully equipped kitchen with a central breakfast bar stands in the corner and provides you with all your home comforts to rustle up a hearty meal. Complete with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee machine. Kick back and relax on the comfy sofa, cosy up with someone special and bask in the silence and seclusion of this utterly charming setting or pick a film to watch on the Smart TV. Come bedtime, head up the stairs to your sumptuous bedroom where your king size bed awaits you for a great nights sleep. An en suite shower room with a large walk in shower is the ultimate way to start your day before you head out to explore the countryside. Guests have access to the phenomenal gardens with manicured lawns, well stocked borders and a lake.
