Often it's the interior design or the quirky features of a home that really draw you in, and sometimes... it's the location. Radiating the exotic tones of a tropical rainforest, this secluded house in the archipelago of Madeira offers colourful, idyllic views whichever way you turn. From the turquoise blue waters of the Atlantic to the dramatic cliff face with little waterfalls trickling down its cheek, all while being immersed by lush green banana plants – you're in paradise. Rise and shine with morning coffee out on the terrace, while marvelling at the wild beauty around you. Fire up the barbecue using dried banana leaves and enjoy a long brunch in the sunshine. And when you're ready to explore, the coast of Ponta do Sol is a mere two-minute drive away, boasting pebble beaches, tantalising restaurants and bars. Translating as "tip of the sun", the local area is one of the most sun-exposed places across Madeira, so there is no need to worry about the weather. When you do eventually return to your new home, unwind in the soothing living space benefitting from neutral tones of dark wood, brown, and pops of orange. An oasis of sultry calm, there's something special in those bananas.
