For the business traveller arriving in London for an early morning meeting or an international jet-setter on a pit-stop visit to the UK's capital, this apartment is more than enough to suffice. The interior is simple, sure, but there's everything here you could need for a fleeting stay. We thought the bathroom was pretty luxurious and could easily pass in some of the upmarket hotels that dot the map around these parts. The twenty-four-hour concierge service in the building is another welcome bonus, as is the access to a communal gym and lounge. However, we'd be lying if we didn't say that the major selling point is the location. Most of the main office blocks in the financial district can be reached in around ten minutes on foot, while St Paul's Cathedral sits five minutes' walk in the opposite direction if you have a spare hour or two for sightseeing.
Home truths: *This home has pretty lacklustre views of a fire exit *There's a lift in the building to reach this apartment on the second floor and the home itself is step-free *The building has no car parking spaces, but Mansion House and Cannon Street stations can be reached in two minutes' walk *A cot can be provided if required
