Overview
Atlantic Lodge is a charming country getaway that sleeps six. Nestled at the foot of Mount Brandon within walking distance of the famous Bothar pub. The living space has it all, a huge classic kitchen, cosy lounge, separate dining room and the perfect sunroom to relax in. Elevated on the hillside it has wonderful views that take in the Three Sisters, Brandon Creek, the Sleeping Giant Island & the Atlantic.
Bedrooms
Atlantic Lodge has three bedrooms, all upstairs with sea views. There is a twin room, a double room and a large master bedroom with a walk in wardrobe and ensuite. All have side lamps, storage, well dressed beds with fresh white linen, cushions, throws and towels.
Bathrooms
There are three bathrooms. The main family bathroom is upstairs with cream wood panelling, a bath, separate shower, toilet and sink. There is an ensuite off the master bedroom with shower, toilet and sink plus a downstairs toilet off the utility room.
Lounge
The lounge is in the centre of the house and has two big comfy couches, two big soft armchairs a large flat screen TV and a gas stove set into the red brick chimney breast. Although the area is open plan with the kitchen it feels separate as it around the corner from it. I love the way the whole house is open plan but each room feels very separate.
Kitchen and Dining Area
The classic cream country kitchen has a modern touch with a large central island, great amounts of storage, a gas stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle toaster and cafetiere. There are double doors that lead onto a seperate dining area that overlooks the sea. The dining area has a table to seat six with a service side board and french doors leading outside. There is a separate utility off the kitchen/lounge with sink, storage, washing machine and a downstairs toilet.
Sunroom
A stunning space with a high vaulted ceiling and a wall of windows on the gable end. The light, views, fresh white furnishings and tasteful cushions help create that relaxed summer ambiance we all want to snooze and read in on holiday. There are two doors either side of the chimney so this area can be shut off from the rest of the open plan living area.

Atlantic Lodge is a lovely, well-appointed home in a spectacular location beneath Mount Brandon and near where Brandon Creek flows into the sea. Just 10 minutes from Dingle with its excellent restaurants and nice shops, and a short walk from a friendly local pub. Highly recommended.

"Idyllic location" “Atlantic Lodge is situated in an idyllic location approximately 15 minutes outside Dingle. The house is so warm and welcoming and there are incredible views form every aspect. Alice who manages the house was regularly in touch to ensure we knew how to get there and to ensure she was there to greet us. There was a lovely welcome basket left out for us when we arrived. The amenities were excellent and there is a lovely local pub within walking distance. I would highly recommend Clodagh’s cottage for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. We hated leaving!”

"Absolute favourite place I have ever stayed in"
The Atlantic Lodge was my absolute favorite place I have ever stayed in. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, clean & comfortable. The home is about 20 minutes away from Dingle in a extremely scenic, tranquil rural location at the foot of Mount Brandon. Every morning I awoke refreshed to peaceful sounds of birds and sheep and looked out the bedroom window to see the most beautiful & picturesque view. I loved the remoteness and found this location perfect for “me” time. Catching up on reading or writing a book. My party consisted of 5 adults and all enjoyed their stay at the Atlantic Lodge. We did rent a car and traveled to various sites the remoteness of the lodge added travel time but we did not mind as coming back to the Lodge was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. I highly recommend the Atlantic Lodge – it affords a 1 of a kind experience.

"One of the most beautiful areas in the world"
The Atlantic Lodge is located in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. The local residents are warm and friendly, greeting visitors with a smile and wave. Beautiful area to lodge if you enjoy hiking. The residents take pride in their community and country, and share their culture over a pint of Guinness at the Bothar Pub, just a short walk from Atlantic Lodge. The home itself is beautiful. The sunroom is comfortable and relaxing to enjoy a good book and watch the sheep a few meters away. All bedrooms have beautiful views of the green pastures where sheep are grazing. The kitchen had utensils needed to prepare meals, and a lovely gift basket of starters if you do not make it to the market on your way in. The owners respond right away with any questions and gave us a nice overview of the area. The local golf course has nice views with the links style challenge, and is about 15 minutes away. Tigh TPs in Ballydavid serves the best fish and chips and soup. Visit Bricks Pub in Ballyferriter for live Friday night music performed by local residents. When I have the opportunity to visit Ireland again, I will stay at the Atlantic Lodge.

"We loved our stay at the Atlantic Lodge!"
We loved our stay at the Atlantic Lodge! The house was so comfortable and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was great to cook in. We loved spending time in the sunroom, where the views were stunning. Everything was as advertised. A great value! Emma, our local manager who looked after us was friendly, personable, and responsive. The house is not close to any public transportation, so having a car came in handy. Highly recommended!”

This was our second year staying at this property and we will likely return. It is a spacious and airy home about 15 minutes drive from Dingle, with panoramic views of mountains, grazing sheep and the sea. Plenty of room for six people (although we were just two). Our host Jack was prompt, courteous and helpful at all times – thank you, Jack. The checkin and checkout was easy. The house was well equipped for cooking, laundry and dining, Overall, a positive review.
