The cottage was lovely, to a very high standard throughout and with no expense spared. All kitchen equipment was high end and top quality. Everything was really clean too. It was a perfect location too, with lovely walks, and it was out of the main tourist hotspots but still within 5-10mins driving distance. It was great to have a little shop within a couple of minutes walk.

Ash Cottage is a little gem and suited us down to the ground. It has been very recently completely restored and it's decor, furniture, and equipment are all modern, stylish, and top notch. Although a small artisan's cottage, with only one bedroom, we never felt cramped, and it was extremely comfortable. The large, comfy bed was heaven after a day's walking, and the table and chairs in the small garden was lovely to sit at in the summer sunshine. It's location too couldn't have been better. Overall we thought the cottage was excellent and easily worth a five-star rating. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.
