Set in a gated community in Indio, April Showers offers the kind of luxury that the Coachella Valley is famous for. This isn't your regular Indio home with a wraparound backyard, a huge open-plan living room, and a split-level pool and spa. We particularly love the homely charm that features throughout the property – from the moment you arrive, expect to be greeted with a warmth comparable to the feeling of stepping inside your own home. Since the sun is always shining around here, you'll probably want to spend most of your time outside in the garden – whether it's for a game of ping pong, a dip in the pool, or to fire up the barbecue, gather the group together to enjoy a sociable affair from day through to evening. While there's plenty to keep you occupied on-site, this characterful villa also works beautifully as a base from which to explore the happening area. If you're into golf, this is something of a pilgrimage site. Not only is the vast PGA West complex just a few blocks away, but there are countless courses within a ten-minute drive. And there is undoubtedly plenty around to keep you busy if you aren't so keen on golf – La Quinta boasts a vast array of upmarket shops and restaurants, less than a ten-minute drive away. Did we mention that the Empire Polo Club, better known as the site of the Coachella music festival, happens to be reachable in just a six-minute drive?
